Course facilitators: Health Information Library Instructional Faculty

This year-long course is an introduction to information technology and its specific practical application in clinical, research and medical education settings. Topics include computer/IT basics, including use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; web programming; advanced information seeking; computers in medical education; and electronic medical records. Participants prepare and present two mini-projects over the course of the year that incorporate use of advanced computer applications.
