Length of each presentation must not exceed 10 minutes.

Please present 1-3 learning objectives at the beginning. These can be clinical pearls that you want the group to take away from your presentation (e.g. the mono-spot test takes 10 days to be positive).

Present a case you have seen with the history and physical exam. You may have the group work through the differential diagnosis and management plan with you during case discussion. You will lead this discussion and present your clinical pearls.

This presentation will count towards 5% of your grade.

You will be evaluated on:

How well you presented the patient

a.       Revealed pertinent history

b.      Relevant physical findings

c.       Appropriate lab tests

How well you present the clinical pearls

a.       Well organized

b.      Points concise and relevant to case

c.       Evidence based where possible.

Feel free to bring x-rays, EKG’s etc. where relevant.
