The Department of Family Medicine at the University of
Virginia is leading change in our Health System with team-based care
models, patient care quality improvement initiatives, and process
improvement efforts to increase patient safety and operational
efficiency. We just recently received patient-centered medical home
certification for all of our clinic sites.
We are seeking candidates for multiple full-time tenure-ineligible Assistant/Associate Professor positions. The incumbents will be responsible for direct patient care, to include inpatient and outpatient care, and teaching and supervision of residents and medical students. Preference will be given to candidates with obstetrical care experience. Rank is dependent upon experience.
Candidates must have an MD and be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Family Medicine or have a DO and be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians by the start date.
