The Department of Emergency Medicine holds two alumni events per year: an Alumni Reception and Alumni Reunion. The annual alumni reception is held in conjunction with ACEP's Scientific Assembly. It's a great opportunity for those that attend to ACEP's annual meeting or are located in the area of the event to catch up with fellow alumni. The inaugural alumni reunion took place in April of 2012. During the inaugural reunion, lectures were given by our distinguished faculty and dinner at the Garden Room of the Colonnade Club. Additionally, alumni were able to come back to Charlottesville and remember the good ol' days.

 

Residents will be in attendance at both events, this breaks the "five year barrier", only knowing peers two years older and two years younger.
