All incoming Dentistry Residents must adhere to UVA GME Office and Medical Center Human Resources hiring requirements and GME Office Contract in preparation to begin the GPR program mid June.
By June 1 applicants must have graduated from an ADA accredited School of Dentistry or have completed/received certification/diploma for at least one year of an ADA accredited Advanced Dental Education program in order to comply with licensure requirements for temporary or permanent licensure by the Virginia Board of Dentistry.
The applicant is required to submit the following (same requirements in PASS):
- Dental school transcript
- 3 letters of recommendation (including 1 from the Dean)
- National Board scores Part 1 and Part 2
- Student essay
