I am a first year grad student in the Neuroscience program. I came here after graduating from Lafayette College in 2011 with a BS in Neuroscience J.

I am interested in how the peripheral immune system talks to the nervous system and its resident cells and, in turn, how the nervous system controls the immune system. My hope is to figure out how immune activation translates in the brain parenchyma during episodes of stress and learning and what mediates this communication across the protective barriers of the CNS.
