I am a second year Ph.D. student at the Kipnis Lab where I study the role of T cells in normal brain function.  My project is aimed towards characterizing the subset of T cells that participates in neuro-immune phenomena, with particular emphasis on the antigenic specificity of the T cell receptors involved. I received my BS in Biochemistry and Biology from Virginia Tech.  Currently I am a student in the Microbiology and Immunology graduate program.
