Training for department contacts is May 11, 2012.
The Candidate and Referee Entry system will open for 2012-13 candidates on May 11, 2012.
The regular Promotion and Tenure (P&T) cycle begins each spring and lasts approximately 14 months. The department chair requests promotion and/or award of tenure. All requests are reviewed by the department, School of Medicine, and University (Provost's Office). The promotion and tenure process has a strict timeline based on the Provost Office deadlines. It is important for department chairs and candidates to be familiar with the schedule and process.
Each department has a designated contact responsible for entering all candidate and referee data into the P&T data entry system. The contact coordinates the P&T process with the Dean's Office.
