Each year, the first and second year classes vote for a select number of lecturers to honor them for their teaching excellence in the basic medical sciences. The award winners are traditionally announced during Transition Week between second and third year. Award certificates and an informal class reception to honor the awardees is graciously supported by the Medical Alumni Association.
