Teaching Portfolio

The Teaching Portfolio, developed by members of the Academy of Distinguished Educators, can be used to apply for membership in the Academy and as part of the Promotion and Tenure process.

Through the Faculty Leadership Program we offer two sessions on preparing a strong Teaching Portfolio:

Preparing Teaching Portfolios for Evaluation and Promotion

Thursday, November 8, 2012, 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., Meeting Room 1, Jordan Hall Conference Center

William G. Wilson, MD, Academy of Distinguished Educators Membership Subcommittee

This workshop will describe the preparation of the teaching portfolio for P&T purposes as well as for use in applying for admission to the Academy of Distinguished Educators. Participants will have an opportunity to review sample teaching portfolios and begin preparing their own portfolios. Following this session, participants will be able to describe the essential elements of the portfolio and list who to contact and where to find additional information in case they have questions.
